Installation precautions for backpack lawn mowers
Adjust the throttle cable to the appropriate position to ensure correct idle and high-speed throttle;
The blade is firmly fixed and checked before each use;
After using the flexible shaft for a period of time, lubricating grease must be added.
The use of backpack lawn mowers
1、 Startup method
1. Check if the ignition wire is properly connected.
2. When starting in a colder environment, turn the choke lever to the "OFF" position; If the ambient temperature is high or the engine is in a hot state, turn the choke handle to the "ON" position (i.e. the position during normal use).
3. Pump oil: Pump oil to the carburetor until fuel can be seen flowing out of the return pipe.
4. Gently pull the starter handle until there is resistance, then use force to continuously pull to start the gasoline engine. be careful! Rough pulling of the starter is not allowed, as discontinuous pulling can cause discontinuous spark plug ignition and prevent the machine from starting.
5. Gradually turn the damper lever to the "ON" position and heat up the machine until it runs smoothly.
6. Adjust the throttle handle and control the throttle size to achieve the appropriate operating speed of the lawn mower, and then proceed with weed removal operations. During operation, do not pull the handle of the starter, as high-speed rotating parts may damage the starter.
7. Shutdown: First, turn the throttle lever to the low-speed position, and then turn the parking switch to the "OFF" position to stop the machine.
2、 Specific operating methods for backpack lawn mowers
1. When using a lawn mower to cut grass, it should be ensured that the nylon rope of the lawn mower extends 5-10cm outside the lawn mower. If it is too long, it will affect the service life of the gasoline engine due to the high load and cause damage to the grass deflector; If it is too short, it will reduce the efficiency of the homework.
2. After the nylon rope is worn and shortened, during normal use, as long as the grass head is gently touched against the ground, the nylon rope will automatically swing out and extend. If the length is not enough, it can be repeatedly touched several times until the length of the nylon rope is 5-10cm. After using up the nylon rope, you can remove the grass head and wrap the new nylon rope around the rope pulley to reinstall it.
3. When using a blade to mow grass, do not insert the entire blade into the grass. For general lawns, insert 1/2 of the blade diameter. For grass with harder stems, insert 1/3 of the blade diameter.
4. When cutting shrubs with a blade, the shrubs should generally be cut along the edges of the shrubs in the same horizontal plane. When cutting thicker shrubs, a cut should be made in the direction where the shrubs fall, with a depth of about one-third of the diameter of the shrubs. Then, the shrubs should be cut off from the other side of the shrubs. This cutting ensures that the blade will not be caught during the cutting process and can also control the direction in which the shrub falls.
