It is very important to make proper adjustments to the irrigation machine in order to maintain its good working condition and maximize its advantages.

The adjustment of the irrigation machine mainly includes the following eight aspects:

1、 Adjustment of magneto

1. Adjustment of ignition advance angle

When a gasoline engine is in operation, the ignition advance angle is the degree before the top dead center. When adjusting, remove the starter and loosen the two screws that fix the bottom plate through the two inspection holes of the magnetic motor flywheel. Use the two long waist holes on the bottom plate for adjustment. If the ignition is too early, turn the bottom plate in the same direction as the crankshaft rotation direction when the engine is working, and then tighten the two screws. Otherwise, if the ignition is too late, rotate the bottom plate in the opposite direction of the crankshaft rotation direction.

2. Inspection and adjustment of platinum clearance for contact magnetic motors

Place the piston at the top dead center, align the flywheel "O" streamline with the crankcase streamline position, and check that the platinum clearance should be 0.25-0.35 millimeters.

Method for adjusting the platinum gap:

(1) Rotate the crankshaft to open the platinum gap to its maximum position;

(2) Slightly loosen the half round head fastening screw;

(3) Rotate the platinum base plate, measure with a thickness gauge, and adjust the platinum gap to 0.25-0.35 millimeters. Generally, the platinum gap of the new machine is qualified, and the ignition advance angle should also be within the specified range.

(4) Tighten the semicircle, tighten the screws, and recheck the platinum gap. If it is not qualified, repeat the adjustment according to the above method.

2、 Adjustment of Spark Plug Gap

After a certain period of operation of the gasoline engine, if the gap exceeds the specified range due to electrode burning, the carbon deposit should be removed and the side electrode should be adjusted to reach the specified value of 0.6-0.7 millimeters.

3、 Adjustment of carburetor

When adjusting the carburetor, place the flat snap ring at different positions in the oil needle ring groove to achieve the purpose of adjustment. When the flat snap ring is lowered, the fuel supply increases.

4、 Adjustment of starter

When the starting rope or spring is damaged and needs to be repaired, please disassemble and assemble according to the position of the parts, and pay attention to tightening the M5 left-hand screw in the center. After assembly, pay attention to adjusting the tension of the spring. When the starting rope is completely pulled out, the starting wheel should still be able to rotate forward by about half a turn. At this time, the tension of the spring should be appropriate to prevent excessive looseness or tightness. When adjusting, first connect the starting rope and wrap the rope around the pulley in the direction of rotation, leaving a section of rope to be lifted from the gap in the pulley. Use force to pull the pulley forward and slowly rotate it one circle in the direction of rotation. At this time, the spring is tensioned. Otherwise, it is loosened. If the starting rope is damaged, it should be replaced in a timely manner, but attention must be paid to the appropriate length. If the rope is too long, the starting handle will sag, and if the rope is too short, it is easy to pull off the rope head.

5、 Adjustment of the gearbox

Using adjusting shims, adjust the tooth side clearance to be between 0.15 and 0.3 millimeters (determined by fuse inspection or rotating the gear shaft based on experience).

6、 Adjustment of throttle rope

After long-term use, the throttle cord may elongate, so adjustments should be made if necessary to ensure that the carburetor's variable air volume piston can be fully opened and fully closed.

7、 Adjustment of handle position

The handle can be moved back, forth, left, and right. The handle can be adjusted and fixed in a convenient position according to the height of the human body.

8、 Filing and adjustment of serrations

Use a scraper to pull out the saw path, making the saw path even and maintaining about 2.5 millimeters to avoid local tooth contact. Warping and loss of roundness should be leveled and rounded on the flat plate. Saw blades with missing teeth or cracked edges can be filed shorter. After the serrations become dull, use a specialized knife to file and repair the file.
