    product description

    Grass mowers are becoming more and more common in daily life, but problems are inevitable during use, such as broken connecting rods or cylinder blocks, irregular oil changes, spark plug malfunctions, and so on. What should be done? Today, the editor will talk to you about these issues.
    1、 What should I do if the gasoline engine connecting rod of a lawn mower breaks or the cylinder block also breaks?
    Fault manifestations:
    The contact surface between the crankshaft and connecting rod is stuck. There are scratches on the surface of the connecting rod in contact with the crankshaft.
    Cause of malfunction:
    Lack or absence of lubricating oil can cause high-temperature melting and pulling of the contact surface (inner surface of the connecting rod or even the surface of the crankshaft).
    Fault analysis:
    Not adding lubricating oil (gasoline engine oil), or adding lubricating oil but not in place, or adding lubricating oil but not in place but at an improper angle of use of the machine, causing oil splashing and the wheel not coming into contact with the oil, resulting in a lack of lubricating oil or a lack of lubricating oil on the contact surface between the crankshaft and connecting rod, leading to a lack of lubrication on the contact surface; The second is no cooling. Under normal circumstances, if it is at the rated operating speed, the crankshaft and connecting rod will bite due to the above reasons within a few minutes, causing the connecting rod to break and crack the cylinder block.
    Adding counterfeit and inferior engine oil can also cause the above-mentioned problems.
    Analysis basis:
    1. All internal combustion engines, crankshaft and connecting rod jamming (or locking) is caused by a lack of oil;
    2. Sometimes, if the machine damaged by the user does not have any signs of debris in the oil stored, it indicates that there is no oil during operation or the amount of oil is too low for the splash wheel to reach, or the oil in the machine was added after an accident occurred. The oil added afterwards did not participate in lubrication, so it is still clear and free of debris (the oil is gray black);
    3. There is also a situation where, although there is enough oil, when used on slopes greater than 25 °, the oil splashes and the wheels cannot reach the oil due to the large inclination angle, which can cause the above-mentioned faults or other components to be pulled or locked, and wear accelerates.
    2、 What are the engine failure reactions of a lawn mower if the oil is changed irregularly?
    As the working time of the lawn mower engine increases, the dissolved waste in the oil will gradually increase, the color of the oil will gradually deepen to black, and the lubrication function will gradually decrease. If the oil is changed irregularly, the lubrication function of the oil will gradually decrease, leading to excessive oil consumption, premature engine wear, loss of power, until the connecting rod breaks and the engine is scrapped. The oil change time should be 50 hours. If the engine operates in a high temperature or dusty environment, the oil change time should be around 25 hours. It can also be determined by the color of the oil in the oil chamber.
    3、 Why can't lawn mowers maintain the purity of oil even after frequent oil changes?
    A regular lawn mower needs to be replaced with oil after running for about 20-25 hours. Due to the high viscosity of the oil at room temperature, it must be replaced in a hot engine state to ensure that the oil is completely replaced. The common problem mentioned above is that the oil has not been replaced in the hot engine state, and the waste oil has not been completely drained. Even if new oil is added, it is still contaminated by the residual waste oil in the cylinder block. Therefore, oil replacement should be carried out in the hot engine state.
    4、 What are the common causes of lawn mower cylinder pulling?
    Pulling the cylinder can be said to be a common and major malfunction of lawn mower engines. There are many reasons that can cause this malfunction, and the most important one should be engine oil. It is necessary to maintain the purity and moderation of the engine oil in order for the piston to move smoothly in the cylinder under the lubrication of the engine oil. Dirty, excessive, or insufficient engine oil can cause poor lubrication and cylinder pulling. It is particularly important to check the engine oil before using the lawn mower.
    5、 How to determine the malfunction and maintenance of the lawn mower spark plug?
    The malfunction of spark cooling mainly occurs in the skirt and electrodes.
    1. Normal
    Normal refers to the appropriate air-fuel ratio, ignition advance angle, spark cold and heat value, and normal combustion in the combustion chamber, which means there is no hot spot fire or leakage ignition. Under normal circumstances, spark plugs have almost no carbon deposits, are dry, and the electrodes are basically non ablated, appearing light brown (rust colored) or slightly light gray fine powder on the surface. During maintenance, as long as some micro sediment residues are wiped off, they can continue to be used.
    2. Carbon fouling
    The carbon spark plug is dry and has a matte black carbon layer deposited. In severe cases, the carbon layer appears as a capillary, which can cause leakage and ignition failure. Excessive concentration of combustible gas, high heating value of spark plugs, weak ignition, or excessive electrode gaps can cause carbon deposition. After removing the carbon layer, the spark plug can still be used.
    3. Overheating damage
    The skirt is dry and appears white or light gray, and in severe cases, there may be local loose protrusions on the surface of the porcelain tube. The electrode is significantly ablated, with a circle of ablation near the central electrode and nodular particles adhering. Excessive lean combustible gas, low or leaking spark plug heating value, premature ignition, or overheating of gasoline engines can all cause overheating and burning. It's better to update.
    4. Oil contamination
    Engine oil, shiny, oily black, wet and greasy. Excessive oil in the mixed oil, crankshaft oil seal leakage, low spark plug heat value, and prolonged idle or low-speed operation can all cause oil contamination. It is difficult to remove without a dedicated cleaning solution. The electrode gap of spark plugs is an important technical data and should be adjusted according to the instructions. Non contact ignition is generally 0.6-0.7mm. Excessive clearance results in poor high-speed performance of gasoline engines; Too small, poor low-speed performance.
